REHEARSAL STUDIO DESIGN FOR SAVAGE RAVAGE METAL BAND 

We recently had the opportunity to work with the metal band Savage Ravage, especially with their bass player, Mr. Alexander Benev, on the creation of their new rehearsal studio, located in a residential house with sensitive neighbors on the second floor and near the site. The primary design goal was to provide both a very high amount of soundproofing towards the neighbors and decent acoustics in the studio for a limited budget. We are happy to report that despite the small floor area of 30 sq meters, the highly restricted 2.1-meter ceiling height of the semi-basement room, and the budget constraints, we acoustically designed a space which ensures that the band can rehearse without disturbing the neighbors while maintaining a good quality of sound and acoustics in the studio.
